1. Who we are
Sovvento (“Sovvento”, “we”) provides a grant discovery, eligibility-screening and application-drafting platform for European SMEs. Operator details: Impressum. Contact: legal@sovvento.eu.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account, using the free preview, or paying for a subscription, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy notice, our Subscription agreement (if you subscribe to a paid plan) and our Data Processing Agreement (if you process personal data through the service).
3. What the service does
We surface public grant calls from official EU, national and regional registries, score them against the company profile you provide, draft application answers using large language models, and help you assemble a submission pack. We do not file applications on your behalf; the submission is always performed by you (or a person you authorise) through the funder’s own portal.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate and current information about your company, including legal name, country of establishment, VAT number, NACE code and financials.
- Review every generated draft before submission. AI-generated text may contain factual errors, hallucinated citations or out-of-date references. You are the sole author of any application you submit.
- Use the service only on behalf of an undertaking established in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and only for legitimate funding-application purposes.
- Keep your authentication credentials confidential. You are responsible for every action taken under your account.
5. Acceptable use
You may not (a) misrepresent your identity, eligibility or financial position; (b) submit drafts that you know to be inaccurate or fraudulent; (c) reverse-engineer, scrape or republish the matching, scoring or drafting outputs in bulk; (d) use the service to harm or defraud third parties; or (e) violate any applicable law, including state-aid, competition, anti-money-laundering and sanctions law.
6. AI outputs & no professional advice
Sovvento is not a law firm, an accountant, or a licensed grant consultant. The matching score, eligibility verdict, drafted answers and submission packs are decision-support outputs, not legal, tax, financial or professional advice. You should review every output with a qualified adviser before relying on it.
7. Intellectual property
The platform, including its matching algorithm, scoring model, prompt library, scraper graph and UI, is owned by Sovvento. You retain ownership of the company information you upload and of the final application copy you submit. By using the service you grant Sovvento a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, process and display your inputs for the purpose of providing the service to you.
8. Fees
Paid plans are described on our pricing page and governed by the Subscription agreement. Free previews are limited and may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
9. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you are in material breach of these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if continued provision of the service would expose Sovvento or another customer to material risk. On termination, your right to access the platform ends; we will retain only the minimum records required by accounting and AML law (typically 10 years).
10. Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sovvento disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for any award decision made (or not made) by a funding authority, for any reduction or claw-back of a grant, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total aggregate liability under or in connection with these Terms is capped at the fees you paid Sovvento in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in this clause limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (e.g. fraud, wilful misconduct, or death and personal injury caused by negligence).
11. Governing law & venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dublin, without prejudice to any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you may have under your country of habitual residence.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email and posted at this URL at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
